Besides the seasonal Pack campouts, members of Pack 3610 are eligible to attend Cub Scout Resident Camp held in July at Camp Karoondinha and Cub Scout Day Camp held in August at the Shikellamy State Park.

Resident camp at Camp K is a blast. The Cubs camp together and participate in exciting activites like archery, ecology, first aid training, bb gun shooting, swimming, handicrafts, Scoutcraft, and canoeing. Large nutritious meals are served at the air-conditioned Dining Hall.

The activities at Camp K are planned in accordance with the requirements in the Cubs’ handbooks, so they can earn Adventure Loops and requirements toward advancement while at camp.

The youth in the boy and girl Troops 610 go camping every month of the year except December. The outdoor program is one of the eight methods of Scouting because it is fund and teaches responsibility, preparedness, life skills, teamwork, and leadership. The pinnacle of the camping program is a week at Camp Karoondinha each summer.

Scouts BSA members are also eligible to go to Philmont Scout Ranch (Troop 610 in 2019), Sea Base (Troop 610 in 2022), National and World Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve (Troop 610 in 2017, 2019, and 2023), and Northern Tier High Adventure.
